Delicious and well presented food. I’d recommend the ‘red hot chilli eggs’, where I found the chilli jam was great at bringing all the elements together (I personally didn’t find it spicy despite the name of the dish). My only improvement would have been to serve the food at a hotter temperature. Service was excellent with friendly staff.

I visited this cafe for the first time on the morning of Friday 23 May 2025. I ordered eggs and tomatoes and a black coffee, then went for a walk and returned to order a cappuccino and an almond croissant. All the food and drink was excellent and the staff were really friendly, especially the young ladies serving. Nice music playing too. All in all a lovely little place and I would definitely recommend.

Looked up for a simple breakfast when we arrived in Beckenham to collect an item purchased locally. Great food, excellent company and the answer to spending a penny !!

Wow wow. Great brunch eggs/ bacon and for healthy sourdough toast. A rainbow on a grey day. Many thanks chef. Followed by super cappuccino

A real hidden gem Easy access from the train. Fantastic vibe, great staff and gorgeous food. The barista made some really awesome coffee and the Porridge I had was really filling and delicious!

I can’t believe I haven’t left a review! This is my favourite cafe in Beckenham! This is my go to cafe for my favourite sweetcorn fritters to sit in or my favourite patty in a bun on the go. A newly installed train time display this railway restaurant is one that should not be missed. I love coming here alone or with my son and we have done for years! Highly recommend.

Really unique menu for the area and pleasant staff. Would recommend for those looking for brunch in the Beckenham area. We enjoyed the sausage and bacon patty with the muffin.

We live just up the road and thought it was a greasy spoon. How wrong we were. Poached is a postage stamp size gourmet breakfast restaurant. The menu is innovative. The service is warm and friendly. That totally know their coffee (fresh roasted beans on sale here too). A delightful place for breakfast (and probably lunch too. As a bonus they have a live train times board and do takeaways. 5 stars all the way.
